Deuteronomy 5:1-22 is the second time the 10 commandments appear, (Exodus 20). Also in the readings for Ezekiel 8 the LORD give a vision and takes him to Jerusalem, in the spirit and shows him what the people were doing in secret and that is why He was going to put a stop to it!………..
