Two items stand out in our reading for today, first, Dueuteronomy 3:22 – ‘You must not fear them, for the LORD your God Himself fights for you.’ Also, the Book of Philemon. Though this is a short letter about a runaway slave who became a Christian, Paul is advocating for him, wow!!

In Jeremiah chapter 44 the people of Judah disobeyed the words spoken by the prophet and went to Egypt. The people were stubborn and would not listen and the LORD told them what would happen to them, and it did………
