“As a dying man to dying men: The life and ministry of Richard Baxter””

Dr. Timothy Beougher, Professor of Evangelism at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in “As a Dying Man to Dying Men: The Life and Ministry of Richard Baxter” delivered an excellent biographical overview of the “Prince of Pastors,” and author of the Reformed Pastor, Call to the Unconverted, Saints in Everlasting Rest, a book he said he wrote with one foot innthe grave, among 57 other books. His exemplary life has been the source of encouragement to many pastors and followers of Christ which draw strength from his intimate walk with Christ through much suffering and prayer.

The talk was delivered at the General Session 1 of the Andrew Fuller Conference in 2016: “The Diversity of Dissent: A Quatercentinneal Appreciation of John Owen, Richard Baxter and William Kiffen.”
