The Bible explains the events of itself. In Deuteronomy 4 the LORD told the people to guard themselves from idols, Psalm 97:7 Let all be put to shame who serve idols and in Hebrews 3:16-19 the reason most did not enter into the promised land was because of their unbelief, they put their trust in the things of this world………..
