What does Deuteronomy 32:44-52 and Revelation 15:3-4 have in common? In our reading today they are both talking about the Sing of Moses…and as tonight starts the Feast of Tabernacles, the Book of Ruth gives the line from Ruth and Boaz to King David and then the coming Messiah, Jesus…..Wow!!!

There is an old movie  about the Book of Ruth that gives some of the cultural background (and some of the details Hollywood made up to fill in the blanks), that you might be interested to watch…….

In Deuteronomy 32:35 the LORD will make all things right when His time comes. Sometimes when I see people doing great evil, I know one day they will have to account for all their evil deeds, may we all turn from our sins and cry out to the Lamb that was slain for us before the time is up……….

We are coming into the season of the Feast of Tabernacles next week and we start the Book of Ruth. Ruth was a nonbeliever and a former idol worshiper who came into a family and began to worship the true and living God and was unwilling to go back to false gods, Ruth 1:16-17. (Some believe that when Jesus returns, it will be during this festival ……
