Ruth was a nonbeliever and a former idol worshiper who came into a family and began to worship the true and living God and was unwilling to go back to false gods, Ruth 1:16-17. (Some believe that when Jesus returns, it will be during this festival ……

There is an old movie that gives some of the cultural background (and some of the details Hollywood made up to fill in the blanks), that you might be interested to watch…….
